The recognition highlights the achievements of the team, whose work on the Sharp Synappx Cloud Print (SCP) solution has advanced the standard for secure, scalable and reliable print management solutions.

The team has been central to the delivery of SCP 1.6, a cloud-native printing and scanning platform that removes the need for traditional print servers. By requiring only a lightweight PC client, a Sharp multifunction printer (MFP) and an internet connection, SCP offers organisations a simplified and more flexible approach to managing their print environments.
Despite its compact size, the team has delivered a solution that competes with those from much larger software vendors. Each developer’s expertise in engineering, user experience and security was identified by the judges as a key factor behind SCP’s rapid and successful evolution.

• Expanded Sharp MFP compatibility
• Third-party printer support via SNMP/IPP
• Mobile printing and scanning, plus email distribution lists
• Authentication, access control and guest printing security features
• Enhanced sustainability tracking and administrator tools

The judging panel praised Sharp’s team for proving that impact is not determined by team size. They described the SCP solution as highly resilient, with competitive functionality that positions it strongly within the enterprise print management landscape.
Sharp was also named a finalist in the Best for Cybersecurity Development category, further recognising the organisation’s ongoing commitment to secure, modern workplace technology.
