CSR at Sharp
By following our guiding principles of “Sincerity and Creativity”, Sharp provides products and technologies that contribute to a better world. We’ve also signed the United Nations Global Compact, which means we’ve taken on a corporate responsibility to support the 10 principles focussed on human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption. By incorporating these principles into our ongoing strategies and policies, we’re cementing our commitment to long-term responsible business practices.
Our sustainability efforts are reflected in:

- Our investment in partnerships and programmes such as our Carbon Capture Partnership working to stop harmful emissions being released

Sharp Europe
Sharp employees have the opportunity to take an annual volunteering day to support a non-profit organisation of their choice. We also partner with charities to participate in fundraising efforts and offer support, including charities local to Sharp Europe’s headquarters in Hillingdon:
Hillingdon Hospital NICU
Sharp began working with Hillingdon Hospital Charities in 2024, predominantly supporting its NICU (neo natal intensive care unit). In that time, we have helped facilitate their refurbishment works to provide a relaxing, reassuring environment for parents who need support. We will also continue with our fundraising efforts to benefit the care of babies born prematurely or with other difficulties.
Hillingdon MIND
Hillingdon MIND is a community-based charity that empowers those who may be experiencing mental health problems. Since 2022, Sharp has partnered with the organisation to raise funds through raffles, auctions, donations, and events – as well as hosting coffee mornings to increase awareness of its initiatives.
