Sharp Europe today announced a new company identity for Apsia, a leading French business in digital transformation and cloud integration. Having acquired the business a year ago, Apsia will now become known as Sharp DX (Sharp Digital Experience) in France, Italy and Spain.
Sharp DX emboldens Sharp Europe’s growth in the European IT services and digital transformation space, offering businesses a fully integrated technology proposition covering the entire digital value chain. This includes cloud and cybersecurity solutions, business applications, data and artificial intelligence.
The acquisition of Apsia in France followed the purchase of modern workplace expert Complete IT in the UK in 2019 and managed services business IT Point in Switzerland in 2021. Together, as Sharp DX, customers can now access over 500 IT professionals across Europe via a more coherent, clear and higher value portfolio offer.
Commenting on the launch of Sharp DX, Joe Tomota, President of Sharp Europe said: “The move from Apsia to Sharp DX is more than a name change. It’s a defining step in Sharp Europe’s transformation. Uniting our capabilities under one identity allows us to offer a true end-to-end digital value chain, from infrastructure and cybersecurity through to business applications and AI, helping customers move forward with confidence in a fast-changing world.”
Under the Sharp DX brand, artificial intelligence will become a core business transformation pillar. Building on robust cloud and data foundations, Sharp DX is already supporting several organisations in developing new AI use cases: from optimising business processes to the gradual deployment of intelligent agents.
Olivier Massonnat, CEO of Sharp DX France, Italy and Spain said: “This is a hugely exciting time for our business. The power of the Sharp brand will enable us to go further and faster for customers as they grapple with the demands of total digital transformation. The move to Sharp DX represents a transition anchored in the strengths that shape our DNA - committed teams, proven methodologies and trusted client relationships. I know how much our customers stand to gain from this, and we’re ready to hit the ground running.”
The Sharp DX brand will be rolled out through 2026. This follows the recent launch of the ‘One Sharp’ unified brand proposition for Sharp Europe in November 2025. Building on over a century of innovation, the new proposition marks a progressive new era of client centric IT Services, Managed Print, Audio Visual and Workplace Design solutions.
