Sharp Europe, a major provider of business technology products and services, is today announcing that Swiss managed IT services and cloud specialist ITpoint (acquired by Sharp in 2021) will officially operate under the Sharp DX brand starting 3 August 2026.
Following the acquisitions of Complete I.T. in the UK, ITpoint in Switzerland, and Apsia in France, Sharp is consolidating its European IT expertise under Sharp DX (Digital Experience), thereby offering a fully managed service that can support businesses and partners across Europe at any stage during their digital journey.
The new brand identity marks another milestone in Sharp Europe’s growth strategy and now positions the Swiss organisation part of Sharp Europe‘s unified European identity for digital transformation, managed IT services, cloud, cybersecurity, data management, business applications, and artificial intelligence.
Through closer collaboration with the European Sharp DX organisations, existing customers will benefit from a broader range of services and gain access to additional expertise. The familiar points of contact, project teams, and service organisations will remain unchanged. Existing contracts, services, operating models, and Swiss data storage will also continue seamlessly.
Sharp DX (Switzerland) Ltd will operate as an IT partner that combines local accountability and personal proximity with the expertise and innovative strength of a Europe-wide organisation.
The ORIA Enterprise Cloud platform developed by ITpoint enables the operation of cloud services in local data centres and combines modern cloud technologies with local data residency and clearly defined operational responsibility. The infrastructure is owned and managed by ITpoint Systems AG.
Roland Singer, Vice President, Sharp DX Europe, comments:
“The move to Sharp DX is far more than a new brand identity. It is a central building block of our European transformation. By bringing together our IT expertise under a single brand, we can offer companies a comprehensive digital service portfolio. For our customers, this means access to a broader European network of experts, additional expertise, and an integrated service offering that provides comprehensive support for their digital transformation.”
Philippe Wettstein, CEO of ITpoint Systems AG, which will now operate under the name Sharp DX (Switzerland) Ltd., says:
“For our customers, the most important things remain unchanged: The people they know today, and trust will remain their points of contact. Our teams, our values, and our commitment to service quality will remain the same.
What’s new is that, as part of Sharp DX, we can access additional European expertise and resources. This allows us to support our customers even more comprehensively, from modern cloud platforms and cybersecurity to data and AI solutions. We continue to combine Swiss proximity and accountability with the strength of a Europe-wide organisation.
At the same time, our principles remain unchanged: data storage in Switzerland, clear operational responsibility, and personal customer focus. This combination makes Sharp DX a strong partner for companies seeking to shape their digital transformation securely and sustainably.”
Under the Sharp DX brand, artificial intelligence is becoming a central component of modern enterprise solutions. Building on secure cloud, data, and security platforms, Sharp DX supports companies in translating AI potential into concrete business applications. This ranges from increasing productivity in day-to-day work to automating business processes and deploying intelligent agent systems.
Sharp Europe is further strengthening its position as an integrated technology partner for IT services, managed print and audio-visual, and workplace design. With Sharp DX, the company is creating a clear platform for the next phase of growth in the European market for digital transformation.
