The Sharp BP-51M65 is a smart A3 black & white MFP with multi-layered security features and advanced environmental credentials, perfect for any modern office.

The BP-51M65 has multiple levels of industry-leading system and data protection features. For example, the MFP checks for any anomalies in the BIOS firmware during start-up and if a problem is identified, it will abort the start-up and launch an automatic BIOS recovery. It also supports Microsoft Entra ID, a secure cloud-based tool for managing identities and controlling device access.

Other security features such as whitelisting, self-recovery firmware and standard Trusted Platform Module mean you can be confident that your sensitive data and documents are always kept safe and secure. Anti-malware software from Bitdefender (option) can add an extra layer of reassurance that your device, data and network is fully protected.

A built-in Microsoft® Teams connector strengthens teamwork, letting users collaborate with ease. With this connector (requires BP-AM10), users can securely print from or scan to their Microsoft® Teams channels directly from the control panel. Synappx Go mobile app also enables contactless and remote printing, perfect for hybrid working environments. And with single sign-on, users can seamlessly connect their mobile devices via WiFi, AirPrint, Bluetooth, NFC or QR code to enterprise workflows and print capabilities from wherever they are working.

Communication lamps show the status of the MFP and intuitive icons on the 10.1” tiltable colour LCD control panel make it easy to access and all the productivity enhancing functions using smartphone style touch capability.

Large jobs can be completed quickly and efficiently with black & white print and copy speeds of up to 65 ppm; and you can even replace toner and paper without pausing the job, keeping productivity levels high. Scanning is just as easy; with the built-in 100-sheet Reversing Single Pass Feeder you can scan two-sided documents at speeds of up to 80 ipm. The BP-51M65 also uses AI to determine the optimal resolution, gradation and compression rates for all scan jobs.

A standard Print Release function allows users to securely release their print jobs from the most conveniently located MFP, from up to 100 devices on the network, and an extensive range of finishing options including a folding, punching, saddle stitching and manual/stapleless stapling add versatility and bring flexibility to your print output.

The Sharp Application Portal facilitates automatic online firmware and application updates to ensure that the MFP is always up-to-date and compliant.

A sustainable design means up to 50% recycled plastics are used in manufacturing the base unit of the BP-51M65 and cardboard packaging also helps reduces plastic waste. Harmful materials have been eliminated from production processes, and the life of key component parts have been extended to reduce the number of service visits, all helping to minimise carbon footprint and maximise recyclability. Advanced eco-technologies on the BP-51M65 deliver an impressively low TEC value and standby power consumption rate, ensuring the device complies with energy consumption regulations. And a new ‘balance’ power saving mode consumes a low level of power, yet the MFP is ready to operate in less than 3.5 seconds.
