Sharp Europe, a major provider of business technology products and services, is today announcing the launch of its new cloud-based real-time device management platform, Synappx Manage.
The launch marks a huge step forward for cloud-based print management, transforming device connectivity into a business advantage.
As office environments become increasingly complex, with companies often servicing multiple fleets of devices across different locations, Synappx Manage streamlines this process. It empowers businesses to automate workflows, manage devices in multiple locations more efficiently, and take advantage of Sharp’s full suite of integrated technologies to connect people and technology.
The cloud-based platform takes devices and connects them all in one, easy-to-use dashboard. Access to a wealth of analytics across one centralised interface enables administrators to monitor usage, detect faults, issues or policy violations as well as eco-reporting to help understand their sustainable print usage.
Devices can not only be controlled remotely, but workflows can also be automated, enabling printing from anywhere. Synappx Manage enables direct cloud connectivity (dependent on device) without the need for intermediary agents or additional hardware. This supports on device monitoring and simplified fleet management through streamlined, push-based updates to help keep devices aligned with the latest software.

Technicians can connect into the printer remotely, meaning a printer becomes the same as other office devices such as laptops, simple to maintain, manage and monitor wherever the location. The dashboard can be personalised to suit business needs. Not only is this easier for IT and facilities managers, but it also lowers costs by reducing site visits and time needed to update devices individually.
