Hamburg- Sharp Energy Solutions Europe has concluded a partnership with Solarland for industrial, commercial and residential solar systems. The two companies entered into the partnership already in 2019 in order to work together closely to expand their solar business for PV system installations on Fuerteventura as well as for distribution business across all Canary islands.
Solarland was established more than twenty years ago with the aim of promoting the use of solar energy in Fuerteventua and the Canary Islands.
Solarland started as an installer focusing on residential self-consumption systems, but also on the industrial/commercial sector such as agricultural PV systems and others.
Solarland values are innovation, quality and customer service, which have made Solarland one of the most reliable and profitable companies on the Canary Islands. Solarland is one of the few companies on the islands which offers turnkey solutions, from engineering and installation to new technologies and innovation.
The aim of this partnership is to increase joint photovoltaic business in the residential and commercial sector across the Canary islands focusing on self-consumption systems. As part of the collaboration, Sharp and Solarland are initially cooperating on a few MW for several systems across Fuerteventura. The partnership between Sharp and Solarland will enrich the energy mix in the Canary Islands, resulting in a boost for renewable energy sources across the islands.
In addition to its products, Sharp brings over 60 years of experience in the photovoltaic business, especially in terms of the technical details, and has extensive expertise in the field of industrial, commercial and residential PV systems.
Solarland strengths lie in turnkey self-consumption solutions, from engineering and procurement to construction and installation. Solarland has more than 20 years of experience in this field.
This strategic partnership allows Sharp to expand its capacities for delivering more panels to Fuerteventura and the Canary islands together with Solarland.
