Sharp Energy Solutions Europe introduces its latest guarantee terms. Effective from November 2023, these new guarantees reinforce Sharp's commitment to delivering exceptional quality and performance.
25-Year Product Guarantee for Rooftop Installations and Modules with a Black Frame and enhanced 15-Year Product Guarantee for Non-Rooftop Installations with Silver Frame Models.
A 25-year product guarantee is offered for customers who choose to install Sharp solar modules on rooftops or prefer modules with a black frame. This guarantee applies not only to rooftop installations but also to modules with a black frame, even when used in non-rooftop settings.
Customers who opt for non-rooftop installations with silver frame models are provided with a substantial 15-year product guarantee. This guarantee is a reflection of Sharp's dedication to serving a variety of customer preferences and offers peace of mind to those who select silver frame models for various applications.
The above mentioned product guarantees apply to modules installed in the EU and the countries of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. All other countries benefit from a 12-year product guarantee for all PV panels.
Power Output Guarantee
In addition to the extended product guarantees, Sharp Energy Solutions Europe offers industry-leading power output guarantees tailored to various panel types.
TOPCon Panels
- 30-year linear power output guarantee with a guaranteed minimum power output on Pnom of 99% in the first year and a minimum of 87.5% in year 30.
- Maximum annual degradation after the first year is capped at 0.4%.
Bifacial PERC Panels
- 30-year linear power output guarantee with a guaranteed minimum power output on Pnom of 98% in the first year and a minimum of 85% in year 30.
- Maximum annual degradation after the first year is capped at 0.45%.
Monofacial PERC Panels
- 25-year linear power output guarantee with a guaranteed minimum power output on Pnom of 98% in the first year and a minimum of 85% in year 25.
- Maximum annual degradation after the first year is capped at 0.54%.
